How to Create a Cheda Account

 Step 1: Download the App 
  1. Visit the Play Store or App Store  
  2. Search for ‘Cheda’ and download the app
  3. Launch the app and tap ‘Sign up’ to create your account 

Step 2: Personal Information 
  1. To create your account, you’ll need to provide the following details: 
  2. Full Name (as it appears on your legal documents) 
  3. Valid Email Address (for verification and updates) 
  4. Active Phone Number 
  5. Gender 
  6. Date of Birth 
  7. Password (to secure your account) 

           Once all fields are filled, tap “Continue” to proceed. 
           An OTP will be sent to the email address and phone number you provided for verification. 

Step 3: Set up a Passcode 
           You will be required to set up a 4-digit passcode to authenticate your transactions.   

Step 4: Fill in Your KYC Information. 
           For a smooth verification process, we recommend submitting your BVN and NIN. 
           Alternatively, you can use a valid Passport or Driver’s License.  
           Please ensure all information is entered accurately to complete the process successfully.

         Note:

  1. Failed Verification: This error comes up when we are unable to validate the information you provided. Confirm that the information is correct or try using a different verification method.
  2. Pending Verification: Your verification request has been sent for review.
  3. Approved Verification: Your information has been verified, and you may start transacting.
